Password security, two-factor authentication, and key management issues

Abstract:
The password has been an ubiquitous cornerstone of security. Two-factor authentication goes one step further. Key management adds a process for managing keys for encryption/decryption of sensitive data - which is becoming increasingly important in th PCI (Payment Card Industry) and is moving to other areas. This paper/session will introduce some fundamental principles of security in terms of passwords, password management, two-factor authentication, and key management.
