Abstract:

In this session, we will detail how 802.11n will “change the game” for Enterprise wireless LAN, while providing a reality check on some of the challenges involved in deploying 802.11n in the enterprise environment. Topics will include: • What ‘n’ brings to the table: Basic connectivity enhancements • How ‘n’ is implemented in the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands • MIMO antennas and ‘n’ range • Implementing ‘n’ in a legacy environment • How ‘n’ will impact your wired network
Daniel Vitulich is a Senior Sales Engineer for Extricom, covering the United States and Latin America. He is an expert in Wi-Fi and RF issues, with an emphasis on network design and application support. Vitulich has extensive field experience with wireless LAN in a wide variety of enterprises, and can speak with in-depth knowledge on the real world scenarios encountered when implementing this technology. Prior to working at Extricom, Daniel was a Program Manager and Senior Sales Engineer at L3 Communications and an RF Engineer at America Movil, as well as holding a range of engineering positions with local Telecom solutions providers in Latin America.
