Abstract:
I will discuss the differences between several security topics, such as CALEA, HIPAA, and the Higher Education Opportunity Act updates of 2008 and what Juniata is doing to attempt compliance.

Mr. Fusco joined Juniata in 1996. He received his B.S. in Computer Science, minor in Mathematics, from The Pennsylvania State University in 1990 and a Master of Education / Leadership from Saint Francis University in 2000. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Technology Management from Indiana State University specializing in Digital Communications.
Currently, Dave oversees three IT departments with a full time staff of twenty employees. In addition to his administrative duties, Dave also teaches courses in Network Design and Management, Database Management, and Technology for Educators.
In his spare time, Dave spends time with his family and likes to participate in road races and Triathlons.
